Alla Brown, DMD, FAGD
Dr. Alla Brown earned her dental degree in 2005 from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. After working for several years as an associate, she opened her dental practice, Lanier Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in 2008 in Buford, Georgia.
Dr. Brown’s post-graduate studies are concentrated on implant restorations, cosmetic and restorative procedures, and rehabilitation dentistry. Dr. Brown has a passion for learning, earning over 100 hundred hours yearly in continuing education. In 2014, Dr. Brown completed fellowships with the American Academy of General Dentistry and is now pursuing her accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
In addition, she also serves as an adjunct clinical instructor for Augusta State University College of Dentistry, mentoring, and instructing senior dental students in the clinical setting. Dr. Brown also serves as a clinical instructor for Clinical Mastery Series, a continuing education program that teaches advanced curriculum on cosmetic and restorative dentistry to dentists all over the country. Her commitment to advanced learning allows her to stay abreast of recent developments and technologies, ensuring the best techniques and materials with which to serve patients.
Outside the Dental Office
In addition to the classroom, she also enjoys giving back and volunteers at a local clinic in Gainesville, Ga., the Georgia Mission of Mercy, and Give Back a Smile, a program that provides free dental care to victims of domestic violence.
From the moment you step into her office, you can see that Dr. Brown absolutely loves her patients, her role in the community, and her work family. Dr. Brown, her husband Buck, and their two daughters live in Hoschton, Ga. Outside of the office she enjoys running, working out at Orange Theory, reading, and cheering on the University of Georgia.
